My approach blends evidence-based practices with a compassionate, trauma-informed perspective, meeting you where you are and guiding you to where you want to go. Sessions are available weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your needs.

In our work together, you can expect a personalized blend of interventions, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts and patterns

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Building psychological flexibility and aligning with your values

  • Motivational Interviewing – Cultivating self-motivation and readiness for change

  • Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – Strengthening emotional bonds and understanding relational patterns

  • Problem-Solving Therapy – Developing practical solutions to life’s challenges

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) – Cultivating present-moment awareness and stress resilience

  • Trauma-Informed Therapy – Prioritizing safety, trust, and empowerment in the healing process

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – Reprocessing traumatic memories to reduce their emotional impact

  • Somatic Experiencing (SE) – Releasing stored tension and restoring nervous system balance through body-based techniques

If you’re curious about any of these approaches, we’ll openly discuss them throughout our work together. My goal is to create a space where you can explore your thoughts, challenge old patterns, and uncover new perspectives—sometimes in ways you never expected. Therapy can be intense and eye-opening, but if you’re willing to dive in, so am I.

EMDR

02

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals heal from the effects of trauma, disturbing life experiences, and deeply rooted emotional pain. In my practice, EMDR is used to guide clients through a process that rewires how the brain stores and responds to traumatic memories, allowing them to break free from patterns of fear, anxiety, and self-doubt.

Trauma disrupts the brain’s natural ability to process experiences, often leaving emotional wounds unhealed—much like a physical injury that gets stuck in the healing process. EMDR helps the mind resume its natural healing abilities by addressing the root cause of distress, rather than just managing symptoms. By engaging in bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping), clients can reprocess painful memories in a way that removes their emotional charge, allowing the nervous system to return to a state of balance.

This approach is especially impactful for athletes, high achievers, and driven individuals who often carry unresolved stress, perfectionism, or mental blocks that limit their performance. EMDR enables clients to release these barriers, build unshakeable confidence, and perform at their best—both on and off the field. It’s not just about healing the past—it’s about transforming how you experience yourself and the world, creating lasting change from the inside out.

SE

03

Somatic Experiencing Therapy

Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-focused therapeutic approach designed to help individuals release stress, trauma, and tension stored in the nervous system. Developed by Dr. Peter Levine, SE recognizes that trauma isn’t just a mental experience—it’s a physical one. Our bodies instinctively react to stress and danger, and when those reactions aren’t fully processed, the residue of the experience can remain trapped, leading to symptoms like anxiety, chronic stress, and emotional dysregulation.

In my practice, I use Somatic Experiencing to help clients reconnect with their bodies, safely process difficult emotions, and restore a sense of safety and resilience. Much like how the body naturally heals from a physical wound, the nervous system can heal from trauma once the barriers to healing are removed. SE works by gently guiding clients to observe physical sensations, emotions, and memories—allowing the body to complete self-protective responses that were interrupted during the traumatic event.

This approach is especially powerful for athletes and high achievers who often push through stress and ignore signals from their bodies. By cultivating body awareness and releasing stored tension, Somatic Experiencing helps clients build resilience, break free from old patterns, and achieve a deeper level of healing. It’s not just about symptom relief—it’s about transforming how you experience and respond to the world, both on and off the field.
